How About The Titanium Plate Anode for Copper Foil Electrolysis?

Titanium Plate Anode for Copper Foil Electrolysis is a type of Iridium Coated Titanium Anode in which the anode (positive) and cathode (negative) are the two key components in the electrolysis process. The anode is responsible for the oxidation reaction and the cathode is responsible for the reduction reaction. In the production of copper foils, electrolysis is often used, where copper ions are deposited onto the cathode to form the foil.
Titanium Sheet anodes are widely used in the electrolysis process due to their excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. Although pure titanium does not conduct electricity as well as some metals, anode materials with both excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance can be manufactured by surface treatment or compounding with other metals.
In the electrolysis process of copper foil, the use of titanium plates as anodes can effectively avoid the problem of anode corrosion, thus improving the efficiency of the electrolysis process and product quality. Electrolytic copper foil is manufactured by electrolyzing copper sulfate. Due to the demanding requirements of product quality and performance, the stability of electrolysis conditions in production is strictly required, and the anode needs to carry a very high current. Precious metal coated titanium electrodes have stable pole spacing and lower energy consumption. At the same time, Titanium Anode have the advantage of being reused after recoating, and can be reused by recoating after the life of the titanium anode reaches its end. In this way, both in terms of energy consumption and cost of anode will be greatly saved. Because of the above advantages, coated titanium anode is widely used in the manufacturing process of electrolytic copper foil, from the formation of copper foil at the front end to the post-treatment of copper foil.
Under the condition of current density <8000A/m2, the working life of anode is about 8-10 months.
