    What Is High Purity Gr9 Titanium Bar
     
    High purity GR9 Titanium Rod (Ti-3Al-2.5V, UNS R56320) is a near-alpha Titanium Alloy with overall properties falling between those of pure Titanium Material and GR5 titanium alloy. This product features strictly controlled levels of impurities such as oxygen, iron, carbon, and nitrogen, resulting in higher purity, a uniform microstructure, and stable performance. Compared to conventional titanium materials, GR9 titanium bars offer superior cold forming properties, including bendability and stretchability, as well as excellent weldability and resistance to cracking. They also feature lightweight construction, high strength, resistance to seawater corrosion and acid-alkali exposure, non-magnetic properties, and biocompatibility.
     
    Manufactured in strict compliance with ASTM B348 and AMS 4976 standards, the product is available in various specifications, including round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars, flat bars, and forged bars. It is widely used in aerospace, marine, chemical corrosion protection, medical devices, precision machinery, and hydraulic fittings, and supports cut-to-length, precision machining, and custom sizing.
