Key Selling Points
1. Higher Strength and Greater Load Bearing Capacity
Compared to Gr1 and Gr2 pure titanium, it offers higher tensile strength, making it suitable for medium pressure and medium load applications. It also maintains good ductility, is resistant to brittle fracture, and has an elongation of ≥18%, allowing for bending, forming, and welding.
2. Exceptional Corrosion Resistance, Suitable for Complex Corrosive Environments
Thanks to a dense surface oxide passivation layer, it resists corrosion from seawater, chloride ions, weak acids, wet chlorine, and salt spray; it is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, remains rust-free during long-term use, and can replace 316L and Hastelloy to reduce maintenance costs.
3. Lightweight with High Specific Strength, Offering Significant Weight Reduction Benefits
Weighing approximately 60% of steel, it offers weight reduction while maintaining equivalent strength, making it suitable for weight-reduction designs in aviation, marine, and mobile equipment.
4. Non Magnetic + Excellent Thermal Stability
Non magnetic, it does not interfere with precision instruments; it maintains stable performance in high- and low-temperature environments and does not become brittle at low temperatures, making it suitable for heat exchangers and cryogenic vessel components.
5. Good weldability and machinability
Welded joints exhibit corrosion resistance similar to that of the base material; it can be turned, milled, and drilled, making it suitable for the machining of precision parts and fasteners.
6. Clean, stable, and excellent biocompatibility
Strictly controlled impurities and low leaching make it suitable for use in certain medical and food preservation equipment components.
